The EPA’s Lead and Copper Rule Revisions of 2021 require that all water systems develop and submit a complete material inventory that includes each customer service line served by the water system. To complete the requirement HCWD1 will be hydroexcavating those service lines in which we still need to obtain material information for. Customers may see HCWD1’s equipment exposing a water service line at or near their property over the next few months. The work will be in a very small footprint and all ground restoration should occur the same day of the work.
