Due to Purchased Water Cost increases from the Louisville Water Company, notice is hereby given that Hardin County Water District No. 1 has filed an application for a Purchased Water Adjustment with the Kentucky Public Service Commission for the purpose of adjusting its Retail and Wholesale water rates. Customer rates will increase by $0.02 per 1,000 gallons used. The rates contained in this notice have been approved by the Public Service Commission in Commission Case 2023-00315. The Hardin County Water District had previously given notice for an increase of $0.04 per 1,000 gallons used, but this proposed rate has been reduced to $0.02 per 1,000 gallons used. This change will be effective for service rendered on or after October 1, 2023.
